To provide respectful, non-medical, non-professional volunteer assistance to seniors, temporarily home bound, or the disabled of any age, so they may remain living with dignity in the residence of their choice for as long as feasible.
Tomahawk Area Interfaith Volunteers, Inc offers a variety of services by providing transportation, light housekeeping, yard maintenance, visitation, and respite care for caregivers.
TAIV is a nondenominational independently run organization. Our policies are not dictated by any public, private or religious entity and we recruit volunteers from the community.
For confidential, volunteer assistance, please contact our office. Alicia, our Program Director, will meet with you and match you with a pre-screened qualified volunteer.
To become a volunteer, contact our office to begin the application process, which includes background and reference checks and program orientation. Also ongoing support services are provided to our volunteers and care recipients by TAIV, Inc.
